Sharing your venture with friends is different than pitching your venture to investors and your peers. Pouring your heart full of passion and attempting to articulate your vision into clear words can seem like a daunting task. AlleyBoost gives you the opportunity to share what makes you passionate and gain real-world experience with real-time critiques to further improve your speaking and pitching skills. The panel and peers at the events listen, comment, and provide guidance helping every single entrepreneur grow from start to end of the pitching night. Fantastic concept and well-managed event.
I've had the pleasure to participate as a judge on many AlleyBoost Investor Night events. Most of the presenting companies have compelling business ideas and passionate entrepreneurs. It's an important meeting place for a fellow VCs like me to meet with peers, co mingle with start ups and socialize with the general audience. I believe that AlleyBoost is doing  a bang up job to help build the start up ecosystem in New York.
